Revirginize your BRICKED/unlocked iPhone!

Uploading images to FaceBook.com from your iPhone…

While you can't currently just click "browse" and upload on the site, what you CAN do is this... Enable your mobile phone number under your "Mobile" settings (Which is located in your account settings) then simply enter your phone number and select your carrier. Setup your g-mail account with your phone, and change your facebook account profile to also use that e-mail address. Then, when you're e-mailing your photo and want it on facebook, just send it to photos@facebook.com and BOOM, there your stupid picture is. My mobile uploads folder is going to contain hundreds of photos of bathroom stalls from all over the world now. :)

Getting GMail to work on your unlocked iPhone…

Well folks, when I first unlocked mine, I was having all sorts of issues getting GMail setup on my iPhone and it turned out to be a very easy fix. There is actually something you need to enable in your GMail account to get it to sync with your iPhone. Login to your account and go to "Settings" (Up at the top right) and then click the "Forwarding and POP" tab. If you want all the e-mail in your inbox to retroactively sync, click "Enable POP for all mail" Otherwise, select the second option and click save! That should fix it!

Jailbreak a 1.1.1 iPhone

Thanks to Willie @ MoreWillie.com When I get around to doing the same to my phone, I'll think about rewriting a guide! ;) I am now running a jail broken iPhone with the latest firmware, 1.1.1. And the best part...it was a pretty easy process. I have since installed Installer.app and plenty of third party goodness. So here is my guide, I am going to try to make it as simple and easy as possible. And as always, I take no responsibility if you end up screwing up your phone. Who is this guide for? Unlocking your version 1.0.2 iPhone (the easy way)

There is a possibility of you screwing up your phone while doing this. If you are extremely careful and follow the instructions you will be fine. Okay? Don't blame me, however, if you screw something up! This walkthrough is assuming that you are using firmware 1.0.2 - Click here for instructions on how to check You are going to need FOUR files for this to work. All but iTunes are hosted on this same site - no rapidshare bullshit. You'll need: iTunes 7.4.2 1.0.2 Firmware (Save this file to "C:\Documents and Settings\%USER_NAME%\Application Data\Apple Computer\iTunes\iPhone Software Updates" - where you see %USER_NAME% - select YOUR username. ibrickr_v08.zip neccessary_files.zip (And winzip, to extract them. How to Check iPhone Firmware Version (If your phone is still locked) 1. Turn on the phone and slide to unlock the keypad. iPhone screen should show that only emergency calls is allowed. 2.
